“I gotta fish!” Fishing has long been a favorite pastime. My love for fishing, being on a mud bank and throwing a casting net started before I could talk clearly. It is a passion that continues today. Sharing a fishing experience with little guys is as fun as fishing the deep waters and larger sport fish with the guys! I am a third generation fisherman, grabbing bait for my dad and listening to their wild adventures has brought me to using my knowledge, to sharing the fun experience with folks who visit Edisto and Beaufort SC.

My biggest tip for fishing with kids from the shore, is keep it simple. They don’t need the best rod. Heck, I think I had a stick, some line and hook! Let them play and explore. The beach is an adventure!
